Q. Andy, reflections on the round today?
ANDY SULLIVAN: Yeah, a lot happier than yesterday. It was trickier out there on the back nine with the wind blowing straight across it through 5. A bit that were gettable yesterday were not so gettable. All in all, very happy with the day's work. It's becoming very, very firm and fast out there, so it'll be interesting to see what the weekend brings. But it was good.
Q. You've been focusing on yourself, but we've had a few 62s out there and nearly saw the course record broken.
ANDY SULLIVAN: Yeah, this morning. I seen that as we were going around. Like I said to you yesterday, when I played yesterday, the course was there and I was surprised no one got after it yesterday. But obviously the wind gets up and makes it all a bit trickier.
But if you get out there early with no wind and it's a little bit softer you can get at it a little bit. For me this afternoon, there definitely wasn't a 62 out there for sure.
Q. Matt Wallace was in earlier and he said he thought the 18th was the best 18th on The Open rota. How would you reflect on that?
ANDY SULLIVAN: I mean, it's a tough hole. There's a lot of options. You can hit anything from 5-iron to driver. There's a lot of options. I'm not sure it's the best. It's a good hole. It's a tough hole. But I'm not sure it's the best finishing one, in my personal opinion.
Q. In terms of the crowds, we're going to be around 300,000 this week. It just gets bigger, doesn't it, The Open?
ANDY SULLIVAN: It's great. I love it. It's good. Again, having them crowds here, it's great energy around the place, and hopefully they get to see some exciting golf.
Q. And a nice platform for you for the weekend?
ANDY SULLIVAN: Yeah, definitely. I feel like my game is there. Just need to hit it a bit closer and get the putter hot, and you never know, get in and get amongst it on Sunday and see where we are.
