Q. So many questions to get into with you. I think you're the perfect athlete to ask this question of.

MARK FLETCHER: Yes, sir.

Q. You rushed for a little over 500 yards as a true freshman, 800 as a sophomore, then led the ACC a year ago in rushing. You're kind of the model for what NIL and the transfer portal was built upon, a guy that's earned value through production. But you didn't leave. You're here. You remained a Hurricane. Why?

MARK FLETCHER: Man, at the end of the day I just follow my heart. My little Mark, he's so blessed to be a part of this organization. The fact that I was able, I always say no hit to anybody that did a fifth-year, more years. The fact that I was able to have one more year my true senior year, I couldn't go against my year. I just took it.

Q. You're coming off of a national title game appearance. You can often return the same players, the same scheme, but you can't return the same team.

MARK FLETCHER: Yes, sir.

Q. In the transfer portal era, a lot of revolving parts. You're one of the high school signees that Miami has dropped and retained. What is different about this team than the 2025 edition?

MARK FLETCHER: Like you said before, it's new guys coming in. I guess the emphasis -- not even I guess, I know that the emphasis that us leaders like me, Mo, Darian, we have to put on these guys that last year is last year. We have to put all focus into this year, take it one day at a time, stay where our feet are, so we can get to our goals.
