THE MODERATOR: Hubert, a nice win this afternoon. If you could just talk us through the match today, please.

HUBERT HURKACZ: Well, Tommy is a great player, great competitor. It was a difficult start for me. You know, he was playing some really good tennis. Maybe I wasn't on top of my game, but I stayed there and was waiting for my moment. Definitely happy with the second-set tiebreaker that went my way. Since then, I think the momentum was on my side.

THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. After a few troubles, please tell me, what does it mean for you to be back in the fourth round?

HUBERT HURKACZ: It definitely means a lot. You know, it's a good moment for me. Obviously a tennis tournament, happy to get through the third round here, but now focusing on the next one.

But definitely happy that the level is slowly progressing.

Q. Playing Jan-Lennard in the next match. You've got a very tight head-to-head, and you also had a tight head-to-head with Tommy as well. How do you look at those matches where you've had those backs-and-forths and momentum swings throughout your career?

HUBERT HURKACZ: Well, you know, ultimately you just prepare yourself as best as you can for the match. You think some of the things tactically and mentally to be ready for the challenge.

Then you just, yeah, hopefully produce your best tennis.

Q. I'd like to know, this year you chose to play on clay after Wimbledon. Of course you know where I'm going. Seeing you in Estoril in two week's time. What was the reasoning behind that decision? I'm sure you like hard courts, as well.

HUBERT HURKACZ: No, I do like clay, as well. I think, you know, given my situation and what I have been through in the past months, I think it's just a good decision for me to play on clay those next weeks after Wimbledon.

Q. What do you think about your next opponent? What will be crucial in the next match? How will you use your day off?

HUBERT HURKACZ: Well, you know, Struff is a very dangerous player. He's very aggressive, his powerful game style. Yeah, it's very challenging to play against him.

So yeah, so tomorrow we'll practice, we'll rest a bit, and yeah, be ready for the next one.

Q. I think you have been quasi supporting Croatia in the World Cup. How was the atmosphere in your camp last night? Did anyone stay up and watch the match?

HUBERT HURKACZ: Are you looking... We move on to the next one. (Laughter.)

Q. Gilles has been your coach for a few months now. How do you describe your relationship with him and his vision of your tennis?

HUBERT HURKACZ: Well, we know he's really, really amazing coach, and I really enjoy working with him. He's brought some new stuff onto the table when he came in, joined us as a coach.

So I'm really excited about it, and, you know, he's very meticulous, takes care of all the details.

Yeah, so we're putting in the work every day. You know, so far maybe we didn't have so much success, but also, like, it's a work in progress. So it takes time to build things, and then I think we're in a good way.
