THE MODERATOR: Marie, a nice win this afternoon. Could you sum up the match for us this afternoon?

MARIE BOUZKOVA: Yeah, it was a tough match. It was just a grind out there and a really close one. Obviously coming back from the first set, just knew I had to pick up my game and play a little bit better. Yeah, in the end, it was just a matter of, yeah, a few points that made the difference.

Q. You're having a great season on grass. You've had good success before. What is it about the grass that suits your game?

MARIE BOUZKOVA: I don't know. I just like to move on it. I would say just the movement on it feels kind of natural for me. That's something I definitely like.

I guess just trying to adapt to it, I know it's always a little bit different. You can always come in a little bit more, which I do like, and maybe on other surfaces I don't get to do that as often. So I think that's something that I also enjoy doing on the grass.
