0-6, 7-6, 6-7, 6-2, 6-2
THE MODERATOR: Flavio, into the second week. How are you feeling?
FLAVIO COBOLLI: I feel great. Of course, is a good feeling. Being in second week of a Grand Slam is always special, especially here in Wimbledon that I find a good level especially this week. I didn't expect this result after amazing run in French Open, especially because I didn't practice so much here in grass.
I didn't expect this result. But at the end now, I feel great also when I play. I feel great when I have to fight. Today I did it, so I'm really proud of myself. I won an amazing match today against a great opponent like Karen.
Yeah, I'm really happy.
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
Q. Can you talk us through what happened in the first set. You went off the court. How are you feeling physically?
FLAVIO COBOLLI: No, I feel great. I had some problem with the food, I think. I eat a little bit too close from the match, I think. Just wasn't fine. I try to vomit in the first set. They give me some pills that helped me a lot.
After five, six minutes I was okay. I found a way to fight, found a way to reach the good level. At the end also physically, I was I think in a good shape.
Q. You spoke about the support of the crowd, how special it was. How much more special is it to have it here at Wimbledon rather than a tournament in Italy?
FLAVIO COBOLLI: Special what?
Q. The crowd supporting you.
FLAVIO COBOLLI: Of course, is unbelievable because you know it looks, like I said on the court, like Davis Cup. I heard a lot of Italian here. A lot of Roman. They always say 'Forza Roma' on the court. They push me over the limit that sometimes either me, I don't know, where is my limit. But with the crowd like this, it's always easier to find solution, to find energy somewhere.
So it's a good thing to have, especially on the outside, because in Court No. 1 and Centre Court I think is tough to have Italian support like this. Outside is more easier.
Q. I think you've spent over 11 hours on court so far. Some players might say I'd like to spend the least amount of time possible. Do you see a positive of the amount of time you spend on court to get your rhythm going?
FLAVIO COBOLLI: Yeah. Today I says to the team that I'm the Arnaldi of the Wimbledon (smiling).
But I think there is a positive thing but also can be damage for the next rounds. Actually, I feel fresh. That's I think the most important thing. If I feel like this, I can play also another five hours.
I think I work a lot before this tournament in Halle, also even before French Open. My body is ready.
