THE MODERATOR: Barbora, appreciate not the result you wanted this afternoon, but if you could just sum up the match for us, please.

BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: Ah, yeah. Where to start? I think overall it was a great match. I think we both gave our all.

Yeah, I mean, having a disappointing ending to me. But yeah, overall I think it was a great week for me, great performance from my side in all of those matches that I played.

And, yeah, I keep moving forward.

THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. Tough luck today. Such a quality match out there when you came back to win that second set. Curious, what do you feel made the difference in that third set?

BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: I mean, only one can win. I mean, I think that's the difference. It's gonna go one way or another. I'm really proud of myself. I'm really proud how I played, how I was able to fight.

I think it was just very, very close match. Yeah, I mean, all the games were so close. Yeah, I mean, we were fighting for every ball. Obviously Karolina just did a little bit better, and she won.

Yeah, but as I already said in my first sentence, I'm proud. Yeah, I mean, disappointed right now, but I'm moving forward. I'm happy I could be here, and I'm happy I'm healthy, I could play. Those are the most important things to me.

Yeah, and my time will come again.

Q. It's weird that you and Karolina faced each other just three times, and not even on tour. I think it was not WTA level. What do you think makes her such a tough opponent?

BARBORA KREJCIKOVA: I mean, she's super talented. I mean, like today, some of the shots she played, crazy. I mean, you're coming to the net, you're almost there, halfway to win the point, and she does this, she passes you. Oh, okay. Let's go for the next one.

I mean, she's really high ranked right now. She's healthy. That's also the most important for her. When she's healthy, she's playing great tennis. I mean, she's also in a great form. She played really well the previous week. I mean, right now, yeah, she's still on the wave. She's surfing it. Yeah, she's just enjoying.

I mean, it was very, very nice to be there with her on that court and to fight for, yeah, for the victory.
