Q. Here with Lottie Woad after her second round here at the Amundi Evian Championship. Another great round from you today. Leader in the clubhouse. What's been just working so well, especially at this course?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think I hit a lot of fairways and greens, which is definitely the key round here. If you get in trouble off the tee it can be pretty difficult, so just been trying to hit my lines and know how important that is.

Just made a few more putts today really.

Q. Obviously very, very young into your professional career. First time leading at a major championship. How good does that feel?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, feels great. I mean, she'll probably catch me before I finish. She has some par-5s. Yeah, I've got obviously nice memories from last year here and I like the golf course, so I think that definitely helps.

Q. What's clicking right now?

LOTTIE WOAD: I think I've been -- I think driver, I've been very good off the tee, which is definitely -- the tee shots are important round here, and if you do that, you can have a lot of wedges and chances.

So I think that's been (indiscernible.)so far.

Q. Last one: Seen a ton of up and down scorecards, some players going crazy low, some players going a little high. What's the key to consistency as you maintain the lead heading into the weekend?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, today was better. Yesterday I had a few bogeys in a row, but today just the one. I think there was definitely some tough pins out there, like the first six holes were pretty challenging to get it close.

So just tried to look at that beforehand and know that par was fine on those holes. Then you've got obviously the par-5s, so try to take advantage of those.

Q. We have Lottie in the lead after a stellar 64. You really caught fire on the back nine. What clicked out there for you?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think I just kept on giving myself chances. I mean, at the start I hit a lot of good approaches on one and two and didn't make them.

On the back nine seemed to make most things.

Q. It's easy to do on a place where you've played so well in years gone by. How much have you changed or your game changed in the past 12 months? Do you feel like you have evolved on both fronts?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think a little bit. I think I've just got slightly better in all areas. Nothing too different. Just, yeah, a little bit better.

I think just mentally been in these positions a bit more so I think I'm a little calmer under pressure.

Q. Give us a little insight into the mind frame. Are you a leaderboard watcher? You're out in front at the moment. Will you be looking at them on the weekend?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I do look at them. There isn't that many out there, but whenever I saw one I looked.

I saw (indiscernible) kind of get it going on the back nine, and kind of helps me know what I need to do.

Q. Certainly makes for nice reading right now. Well done today.

LOTTIE WOAD: Thank you.

Q. How hot is it out there?

LOTTIE WOAD: Really hot.

Q. You're out there for such a long time. Any escape? Any trees?

LOTTIE WOAD: You just don't really get much breeze. That's the thing that makes it hot. The fairways are okay. Just the tee boxes are quite stuffy.

I used a sun umbrella today and that was certainly better than yesterday.

Q. And leaves you nice and (regarding water bottle.)

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I pretty refilled every hole, yeah.

LOTTIE WOAD: No, not quite, but a lot.
