THE AMUNDI EVIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

July 10, 2026

Perrine Delacour

Evian-les-Bains, France

Evian Resort Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Perrine, solid first two days here at your home major in France. Just sum up 18 there and that lovely eagle on the last.

PERRINE DELACOUR: Yeah, it's always nice to finish with an eagle. It was quite a battle today shooting 5- or 6-under yesterday and then starting with a birdie you're like, oh, my gosh, you're expecting more and more.

Then it's golf. It happens. Mistakes can happen and everything.

I mean, I saved quite a good pars on the first few holes and then I unfortunately made bogey on six, which I got unlucky with my second shot.

Then seven it was just missed putt, which is golf.

But overall I'm super happy of the way I've been doing it, like the golf I've been playing and to stay present and everything. It's awesome.

Q. You've spoken a lot about your positive attitude on the golf course. I know you've got family and friends and big crowd on the 18th when that went close to the hole. Has that been helping you as well?

PERRINE DELACOUR: Yeah, definitely helped a lot. I think also the fact that my team is -- even though they are not here in person they're always here. I can always call and text them if needed.

So that's definitely a huge help for me. And also the fact that I have my caddie who is coming from a big learning experience from his dad. So it's definitely helping me a lot to have someone who is a teacher that's always the same no matter if I hit a good or bad shot. It just helps a lot.

Q. Obviously got to rest until tomorrow. You made the cut in your home major in France. How much are you looking forward to the weekend?

PERRINE DELACOUR: Yeah, it's always nice to make the cut on your home major, and it's one of the expectation you have. It's always nice, and especially when you know for sure you secure your card. You're like, well, let's just have fun.

The most important over the weekend will be to just be present and do good process over the next two days of golf and enjoy the moment.

Q. Did you stay up last night to watch?

PERRINE DELACOUR: I did not, no, because I knew I was going wake up at 4:20. Unfortunately I did not. I guess people were honking at 2:30 a.m., I think around 2:00. I don't know, but they were honking, so I guess France won. It was the first thing this morning when the alarm went on I looked at it.

Q. But you knew from all the...

PERRINE DELACOUR: I knew from that, but I did not watch it.

Q. Evian is a little beautiful place, isn't? Wouldn't really expect this major tournament is happening. Sometimes when you're walking through the little streets there.

PERRINE DELACOUR: Yeah, it's definitely the beauty I think of Evian is you don't expecting having that big of a tournament, but you also have all of the community around, like the city and everything, which I think it helps a lot for everybody and is definitely like the beauty of this tournament on top of having the lake view pretty much on every hole. It's just pretty.

Q. How are you finding the heat?

PERRINE DELACOUR: I find it all right.

Q. Anything you're doing to stay hydrated more so?

PERRINE DELACOUR: Just drink a lot of water. It's tough I feel like on the course to have any food, because you're like keep drinking water so you almost feel bad about getting food. It's one think I'm not the biggest girl to have like proper food.

But I've been doing a pretty good job, and my caddie is on top of it also. So I mean, luckily it's like that. When you're done playing golf it's like being smart and spending as much time in the AC as you can.

Q. The greens, are they a bit softer in the morning when you play or is it...

PERRINE DELACOUR: Well, I mean, I think they're going to get firmer overall, but it's getting -- it was definitely softer this morning, but it's getting pretty firm in the afternoon with all of the heat that's going on.

Q. Do you wear this for...

PERRINE DELACOUR: I wear that for -- on purpose for the sun. I don't want to get -- I mean, my dermatologist told me to take care of myself.

Q. You've got to do it.

PERRINE DELACOUR: Exactly.
