Q. Here with Haeran Ryu. Really great start as our latest major champion. What was working so well for you today?

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, today shots pretty good and my putt is pretty good, so that's why I made some lot of birdies.

But little mistake on the hole eight, but, yeah, this is major. Just one bogey is good for me, so I just looking for the next round.

Q. How much confidence were you coming into this week with after winning at KPMG a couple week ago?

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, so feels calm and more has comfortable for me because I'm already have a major, major champion, so I was so happy right now.

Q. I hope so. What is your relationship with this golf course? I know players find it pretty tricky with all the sidehill lies.

HAERAN RYU: Yeah, so I always trying to hit a second shot for the center of the green because just stay on the green is make some easy par, but miss the green is too hard to make some -- to make some par. So that's why I always hit it center of the green.

So, yeah, it works today so tomorrow is same.

Q. How do you take this good round and apply it to the next three rounds and keep playing really good golf?

HAERAN RYU: Maybe my shot is more comfortable before I come back to here, so I hopefully three more days more comfortable for me.
