Q. 66 today what are you pleased with in your performance?

BROOKS KOEPKA: I felt like there was some things I was working on kind of before the last few days. And I finally felt comfortable kind of maybe 5th or 6th hole in, it started to click as far as ball-striking, controlling flight, spin, all that stuff. Just pleased to build some confidence off that. Missed four short ones insides like five feet but putting good from 15 feet.

Q. What you've been working on, is that specific to links golf?

BROOKS KOEPKA: It's a swing thing. It's just my pattern. I get a little inside on the takeaway, and it just stays inside and just got to take a little more out and just feel like my right foot is planted in the ground a little longer and it finally clicked.

Q. Sunny skies and light wind today. Would you rather have a tougher test out there in Scottish links golf?

BROOKS KOEPKA: No, I played the Dunhill last year. I had enough of -- it poured. It blew. I've been ready for a nice day in links golf.

Q. Anything you'd like to do better in the next three rounds?

BROOKS KOEPKA: Just make some of those putts inside five feet. I think that was key. It could have been a very, very good round. But then again, I'm happy with the way I battled back. That was solid. So hopefully take that into tomorrow.
