JORDAN THOMAS: Second time.

Q. Second time?

JORDAN THOMAS: Second time. Yeah, won the inaugural.

Q. How does it feel?

JORDAN THOMAS: Yeah, feels great. That's really the goal any time I come to U.S. Open, is win my category. It's hard to compete with a lot of the these guys. But, yeah, feels really good. It's a lot of fun to win the category. It's a privilege and an honor.

Q. What about this week made you feel the most proud? Was it your score? The result? Seeing people?

JORDAN THOMAS: Yeah, no, nothing golf related made me the most proud this week. It was the way in which I engaged with volunteers and people that give generously to make this possible for us players. By far and away the most proud for me.

Q. Looking into next year, new venue on the other side of the country. What are some of your goals?

JORDAN THOMAS: Yeah, want to get a win in my category again. I'm genuinely starting to believe that I didn't have it this week, that I can compete in the overall, so next year I'll be looking to win my category. Top 5 would be a great result for me. And try to cause some trouble in the overall.

Q. If you could just really throw out a couple of words or phrases that just sums up this week and this experience, what would you say?

JORDAN THOMAS: Gratitude. Resilience. Perspective. Community. Love. Encouragement.

It is the most gratifying week I have pretty much all year. To see these people that I care about and love, to compete against them but to support them, it's a family and it's a privilege to be a part of it.

Q. Final question: What do you want people who haven't been out to this championship or haven't been to an adaptive golf, what do you want them to know that they're missing out on?

JORDAN THOMAS: It is the -- it shows the greatest aspects and parts of golf is adaptive golf. It will immediately have an impact on you no matter what, guaranteed.
