Chaz Bowker

Rockville, Maryland, USA

Woodmont Country Club (South Course)

Quick Quotes

Q. Chaz Bowker, even-par today, minus 3 for the championship. Five birdies, pretty active scorecard today. Could you just talk us through your round.

CHAZ BOWKER: First of all, it was a little hiccup, chose the wrong club. It was my fault. Caddie said take a wedge, don't go for the green. So I learned the lesson there.

After that, I just tried to play simple golf, get to the ball in the center of the green and hope for the best.

Q. Back nine, 1-under, birdied 18. Kind of describe your mindset coming in.

CHAZ BOWKER: I looked at the scoreboard. Josh Kelley said, Chaz, we need this one on 18. I just thought about it, the ball doesn't go in if it's short, story of my life. I made sure to get the ball to the hole, and it dropped.

Q. You're at T-4 right now. What would you say your mindset is going into tomorrow, and what does the next 24 hours look like as you get ready for the last round?

CHAZ BOWKER: Just like it's always been: Chill, relax, have fun, have a good time, hang out with my best friend Josh Kelley and just keep the flow going. Stay energetic and stay calm.
