THE MODERATOR: All right, Chaz Bowker with a 69 today. Chaz, your best finish in Adaptive Open, best round. What was working well today?

CHAZ BOWKER: Just the confidence and being able to like I was saying the other day, keep the heart rate down being keep the mentality high, and just be thankful where I am, being able to play at this highest stage of adaptive golf. That's what it was.

Q. You played in every year of this and your scores have gotten better each time. Is that a contributing factor, your experience? Are you working on your game more?

CHAZ BOWKER: Definitely the experience and hard work going in back home, and being able to play with all the guys that I get to play nowadays, content creators, they have great games and we have good matches.

So I kind of took that to the, I don't know, the golf course today, and just gave it my all. Because I knew I could do it and I did.

Q. Can you talk about the birdie on 18?

CHAZ BOWKER: Ah, that one was electric. Me and Josh Kelly were walking down -- or he was driving I walked down 18 fairway after hitting a good shot and I go, I'm almost there. I got one more putt left, and I know if this goes in I'm going to be proud of myself and the people that are supporting me.

So I just gave it my all and made it.

Q. Second time back here at Woodmont; what did you know you sort of needed to do to solve the trickiness of this golf course?

CHAZ BOWKER: I actually took out a 5- and 6-iron and I'm playing an Apex utility wood by Callaway, so I'm able to get the ball up higher and quicker so it's able to hold these firm greens.

And then I took out my 6-iron and I put 11-wood. That thing is absolutely lethal.

Q. One shot off the lead. What's the plan for the rest of the day?

CHAZ BOWKER: I'm going to go soak, chill, relax, work on it a little bit. I want to stay in tune with my swing so I'm going to hit some more balls, hit some more putts, and just spend the rest of the day with my best friend Josh Kelly.
