Q. First made cut on tour, but you don't really look that satisfied. How are you feeling right now?

PRESTON STOUT: No, yeah, it's exciting. I guess, yeah, it's a big achievement for me. It's my first made cut, but yeah, I'm just a little frustrated with my finish. I kind of got loose with the driver on the back nine.

Yeah, I'm still excited to play a weekend. It will be fun. So, yeah, I'm looking forward to it.

Q. Like you said, finish doesn't help, but you're still pretty much in contention. I mean, it's within arm's length. How did you feel like this week has gone so far, and what's your attitude going to be going towards the weekend?

PRESTON STOUT: I feel like my game is in a good spot. If I could just make a few more putts, I think I'll be in a good spot for the weekend.

But, yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I think it will be fun. I'm excited. Probably just go hit a few more drivers and make sure that's all right.

Q. Going into the week, what were you thinking about the course? How much of a look did you get at it? How much did those thoughts change after a couple of rounds?

PRESTON STOUT: Yeah, I played Monday and Tuesday, so I got to play plenty. Yeah, it's a good track. I feel like it suits my game pretty well. It's awesome. It's a fun golf course to play.

It's demanding. Like you've got to keep it in the fairway if you want to score, but yeah, I love it. It's awesome, so...

Q. I can't speak for today, but yesterday I ran into your OSU teammate, John Wild, following you around. Was it pretty good to have some Cowboy support with you?

PRESTON STOUT: Yeah, John is the man. He's really good at supporting us in terms of he'll come out and watch us play all the time. He's kind of our glue guy for our team.

Yeah, it was cool to have him come out, and it was nice seeing him out on the course. Yeah, it was a little comforting, for sure.

Q. You mentioned driver, but what's the focus going into tomorrow?

PRESTON STOUT: Yeah, just attack. The course is super gettable with how soft the greens are. Yeah, just try to keep it in the fairway and then fire at a lot of pins.
