Q. Zac, just another solid round. Managed the course and stayed in a position where you're in contention heading into the weekend. How did it feel out there?

ZAC BLAIR: Yeah, a little not quite as clean as yesterday. Kind of grinded it out, but was happy with doing that instead of kind of going the other way.

Yeah, played pretty nice still and made a few putts, which was good.

Q. A couple of bogeys. Just what was going on there?

ZAC BLAIR: Just kind of picked a bad target probably on 2. Maybe a little too aggressive and got in a bad spot in the bunker. You know, tried to hit a great shot instead of just an okay one and found myself kind of in a worse spot after that.

Not exactly how you want to play that hole, but hopefully can do a little better job the next couple of days.

Q. Was there anything that changed mentality-wise as you're kind of tracking that morning group and no one was really making that push towards the top of the leaderboard quite yet?

ZAC BLAIR: That was surprising. I mean, I feel like we were still kind of right there within one or two kind of teeing off, which was obviously nice. Yeah, nothing really changed. Just knew you have to kind of still go have a good round and battled pretty good.

Q. Obviously you had it going yesterday, so not many adjustments to make, but did you do pretty much everything the same approach-wise in how you attack the course?

ZAC BLAIR: Yeah, kind of both days had runs where I was hitting the driver pretty good and then kind of a few holes where it was all over the place. Fighting that just a little bit the last few weeks, but hopefully can kind of work it out and figure it out the next couple of days.

Q. Three off, again, everyone likes to talk about how low you have to go here. Obviously that plays a factor, but what is your mindset going into this weekend and going into tomorrow?

ZAC BLAIR: Honestly, just the same stuff. Just get a bunch of looks and hopefully the putter stays kind of hot, and you make a few and you make it pretty easy on yourself. I like to drive it a little better, like I said, and just kind of stick to hitting a bunch of greens and making a few putts.
