Quick Quotes
Q. Nicole Felce is with us now at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Nicole, you are the low PGA of America and LPGA professional this week. How does this whole experience feel?
NICOLE FELCE: Really amazing. Really, really special to be here. Making the weekend was my goal this week, so to have done it and just to soak it all in and to have -- to have played along with the world's best was really special and really amazing and really humbling.
Q. Could you have imagined in your wildest dreams this that would happen to you?
NICOLE FELCE: No. Honestly no. I mean, playing on the LPGA has always been a dream for mine, but for my second-ever appearance to be this major and to play the weekend is just something I never would've imagined.
So yeah, it was really awesome this week.
Q. How do you hope to have inspired not only your students, but all the little girls around here walking around?
NICOLE FELCE: Yeah, it's been really great. Seen a lot of little ones this week. It was really special just to see that. It's really touching.
So I've got a lot of stories for some little girls that were saying that I inspire them. Honestly it shocks me because I still feel like I'm really young. For them to say that to me is really, really special to me. It means a lot.
Q. Obviously making the cut was the big deal. How gratifying was it to bounce back from Saturday and play pretty nicely today?
NICOLE FELCE: Yeah, absolutely. I mean, yesterday was tough; not my day; swing didn't feel too great.
Left it behind me and knew I could put out a good score today, and that's what I did. Made a couple birdies today and end on a high note felt really nice, for sure.
Q. How much fun did you have this week and what would be the best memories of this week?
NICOLE FELCE: So much fun. One of the best weeks of my life for sure. And honestly, the fans made it super memorable. Just to have the PGA and the LPGA also here and everyone here supporting me was -- meant a lot to me. I'm really honored to be a part of two great organizations.
Q. What is your regular life now when you come back home next week? What is your schedule?
NICOLE FELCE: Yeah, I mean, I go back to work Tuesday. I'm going to Q-School this fall, so ultimately the goal is to play on Tour. That's my main goal.
I am currently assistant pro, but right now my aspirations is to be on Tour.
So I am glad I got my certifications under my belt so I always will have that, but definitely want to be on Tour.
Q. So you have a little bit of time between now and Stage I. What did you learn about your game this week, areas that you're going to focus on?
NICOLE FELCE: A lot. Honestly it was good to see kind of some hard work pay off, especially the first two days. And today as well. Definitely think I can clean up my short game a little bit. Probably my dispersions with approach shots.
But this course played tough. I feel like other than that yesterday I played it pretty well, so always things to improve on so I'll be working pretty hard leading into September.
