Quick Quotes
Q. Haeran Ryu is with us at the 2026 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. 11-under through three rounds. What's your outlook heading into tomorrow?
HAERAN RYU: Yeah, today my front nine, it was amazing because I got an eagle and three birdies.
I started the back nine, it was more windy and a lot of tough shots and tough putts, but I just made one bogey today, so it was, I think, good for me for tomorrow, and tomorrow I just want to have more confidence and more calm.
Q. What do you tell yourself on the back nine with the more difficult conditions? What goes through your mind?
HAERAN RYU: I think the back nine holes were more windy, and then a couple more holes are right next to the river, so that's why it's more windy than the front nine.
Then I come back a month (phonetic), so I felt more tired than front nine, so that's why I felt more harder the back nine today.
Q. Are you a leaderboard watcher? And if so, at what point did you realize you were in the lead?
HAERAN RYU: Yeah, I'm really watching. The winner is -- I hope so. I hope to win. But that part is just pray for God.
But I just want to keep on the top three on the leaderboard, so that's why I always saw the leaderboard.
Q. What club did you hit in to make the eagle at No. 7?
HAERAN RYU: I used 200 meters, so that second shot is almost 200 meters. I'm sorry, it's 180 meters, and I hit a 5-iron on the second shot. Yeah, it was pretty good, I think.
Q. When did you realize that Ina was coming backwards as you were going forward? When did you know that a swing was happening?
HAERAN RYU: I think eagle.
