Quick Quotes

THE MODERATOR: Nelly Korda is with us now at the 2026 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. We'll jump right into questions.

Q. If you had to point to one thing today that didn't get you the round that you wanted, what would it be?

NELLY KORDA: What do you think?

Q. Putting.

NELLY KORDA: Okay, thank you. Yeah, just left a few putts out there. Mm-hmm.

Q. The one on 16, how far was that? What happened on that one?

NELLY KORDA: I don't know. I just had the wind kind of -- it was a left-to-right putt, just left edge, and the wind was kind of gusting off my right. Yeah, just didn't make a very confident stroke.

Q. How aggressive do you think you can be tomorrow?

NELLY KORDA: It just depends on the weather. The greens are pretty slick. They don't have too much grass on them. The short putts are pretty difficult.

Putting in general, when it gets this windy, you have to calculate in the wind, too, and a gust here and there. Sometimes you just aren't as confident with your lines.

Q. Is it fair to say that winning at Riviera has freed you up a little bit, or does it feel just the same as it always has?

NELLY KORDA: It feels the same. Yeah, I'm always wanting to be in the hunt, so I feel honestly the exact same.
