Q. Congratulations.
VALENTINE DELON: Thank you so much.
Q. What does it feel like to be the Women's Amateur champion?
VALENTINE DELON: Amazing. I don't think it feels real right now, but it's just the best thing ever. As I said yesterday, I practiced every day to be in this situation.
It was really hard today. The conditions were really hard, but being the champion and putting my name on this trophy is amazing.
Q. And the way you responded every time your opponent kept fighting back, because she kept coming back at you several times, didn't she?
VALENTINE DELON: Yeah, I tried not to leave space. Every time she was coming back, I was just trying to take the next hole.
Q. The last three matches, and you haven't been behind.
VALENTINE DELON: Yes, the best. It's amazing.
Q. How did you do that?
VALENTINE DELON: I don't know how I did that. I just think I was putting a lot of intensity, as I told you, trying to not give space to my opponent. Just a lot of intensity and being really hard on my mindset and then let it go.
Q. We know your story about the surgery all those years ago. This must be tremendous for you, makes you feel fulfilled.
VALENTINE DELON: Since I'm playing golf again, I just want to show everyone that even if something happens in your life, everything is possible. I think I showed it today by winning this tournament.
Q. Lastly, there are some other bonuses obviously from this year.
VALENTINE DELON: It's amazing.
