KPMG WOMEN'S PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

June 26, 2026

Dongeun Lee

Chaska, Minnesota, USA

Hazeltine National Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Dongeun Lee joins us now at the 2026 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. What can you tell us about your second round today?

DONGEUN LEE: Yesterday my shots and short game and putting went well, so instead of focusing on all of other stuff, today I wanted to focus in on my game, and I think it went really well.

Q. So you mentioned yesterday. Yesterday you had four bogeys and four birdies right after, no, so what -- and today you had (audio interruption) think about birdies all the time and be able to recover like this? What makes you always have the mindset thinking you're going to be able to make a birdie on the next hole?

DONGEUN LEE: For my putting I just tried to really follow the line, and then following the length as well. I think I was able to safely kind of keep my score because of that.

Q. How comfortable are you in the top of the leaderboard, no?

DONGEUN LEE: I'm extremely happy being up there and I'm a little nervous but I'm trying to forget about that and then enjoy my game of how to play tomorrow.

Q. As a rookie on the LPGA Tour not many folks are familiar with you and your game. What would you want people to know about you maybe on or off the golf course?

DONGEUN LEE: As a player I want to tell people I'm a good ball-striker and can be a powerful player. So that's what I want to share.
