Q. Your drive on 16, a highlight in what was otherwise as you described to me an up and down day. How would you assess your overall game today?

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, I would say I don't really have kind of a good start. I just got to like 2-over par like after four, five holes. I was just trying to stick to the process.

I knew the course can be makable if you hit really, really good shots. Then you can be out on track. So mentally has to be tough on you.

Q. You mentioned that difficult start, back-to-back bogeys. What was the biggest challenge out there for you today?

JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, I mean, I don't know. Maybe like I just not had a good number as yesterday. I mean, yesterday I had a lot of greens, but today I think four, five hole I just hit like two greens in the beginning of the round.

After that kind of adapted more. Maybe the weather, it's kind of like heavier in the morning. That's why.

Q. You have seen this golf course enough now. What will you need to do well over the next two days here at Hazeltine to give yourself a chance?

JEENO THITIKUL: Good golf. Definitely a good golf for sure. Like I said, your driver has to be on track, and then if your driver is on track then you have a good chance to be able to go for the pin, hunting for the pin.
