WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

June 26, 2026

Andrea Revuelta

Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland, United Kingdom

Quick Quotes

Q. What were you most pleased about what you did today?

ANDREA REVUELTA: I think the way I composed myself. I feel like I kept trusting myself till the last putt.

Farah's a great, great player, and I knew it was going to take my all to win this. So yeah, that's what I did. I literally just -- I'm so tired. I gave it my all out there today.

Q. It was a struggle, lots of pars?

ANDREA REVUELTA: Today the golf course is playing so hard. Pars win holes, but not in the semifinal match against Farah. She played great, and I played great too. It's just a tough course, and this wind is crazy.

You really need to like think every shot through.

Q. Was there a key moment there that you know was important to you?

ANDREA REVUELTA: I think definitely making birdie on 17 was very key to just like giving myself a chance on 18. But I couldn't tell you, like so many things. I felt like 14 I won and 15 I lost.

It's been such a tight match all the way. It's been 1-up, 1-down, all square. So a match that never goes beyond the 1-up or 1-down is an incredible match.

Q. What would it mean to you to win this championship?

ANDREA REVUELTA: A lot, a lot. It's such a big tournament. I didn't play last year, and like I saw it through TV, and I was like I really want to be here next year and have a chance at that trophy.
