Q. How did that go? That was a good performance.

SAVANNAH DE BOCK: Yeah, I was really happy with my game today. I could have always have done more birdies, but I won, so that's all that matters. I had a great time with Ina, and I think my ball striking was pretty good. I'm just happy to play tomorrow.

Q. What were you most pleased with? Was there a hole there where you hit an especially good shot on?

SAVANNAH DE BOCK: Well, on hole No. 13, I believe, the par-3, Ina made a very long putt for birdie, and then I had like maybe 3 1/2 feet downhill, and I holed it too. We squared, but that was a really solid square, so I was really happy about that.

Q. You obviously have experience at Muirfield.

SAVANNAH DE BOCK: Yeah, I got to play four years ago, and that's definitely helping. Especially now that the wind is picking up a bit, I can really rely on what I've done in the past to see how it's going to react.

Even though my memory is a little bit hazy and it's mostly memories of, oh, my gosh, I was so excited and everything, but it's great to be back.

Q. I guess that time passed really quickly.

SAVANNAH DE BOCK: Yes, it was a blur of like good feelings and good memories. So days are kind of like on each other.

But yeah, I remember the people. I remember how I felt and how amazed I was at being here. There's so many like good shots or not as good shots that I remember because they were pretty epic to me at the time.

Q. How have you changed as a person and as a player since then?

SAVANNAH DE BOCK: I think I'm a bit longer on my driver, which is definitely helping. Then I'm a little more sharp in every aspect of my game. I think my iron shots are better. My wedges are definitely better. My putting can be better at times.

That was a week where I had just played amazing the week before. So obviously it's hard to say compared to that specific week. But, yeah, I can tell that I'm better at making decisions. I'm not as likely to play the pins no matter what, which is good, and that cost me quite a lot in the past.

Q. What are you looking for the rest of the week?

SAVANNAH DE BOCK: I hope to keep playing as long as I can, and we'll see where that gets me, hopefully with a trophy.
