Q. To have Hubert Davis, with all that he's been through, just in the building tonight to see you get drafted, what did it mean to you?

CALEB WILSON: It means everything. He's been a great role model and great support system in my life. It just means a lot for him to be here. I always love him and appreciate him for being my coach.

Q. Caleb Wilson, UNC. There's a guy a named Michael Jordan, UNC. Caleb Wilson, Bulls. MJ goes to the Bulls. Are there some shoes to fill with that?

CALEB WILSON: I'm writing my own story, honestly. I want to be better than Mike. I know it's a lot to go, but I'm writing my own story, for sure. I feel like it's a great pipeline from UNC to the Bulls. I am just ready to keep it going.

Q. You had a great freshman year at North Carolina. What do you expect to bring over to the Bulls?

CALEB WILSON: I expect to bring everything I did in North Carolina and more. I've gotten better, and I know I'm going to keep the same mentality and approach toward the game. So nothing will change there. It's just my skill set being able to be shown more.

Q. I wanted to ask you about the Chicago Bulls' culture you're coming into. You've showed that you have enjoyed this atmosphere and culture established within the Bulls' franchise. What do you think about this now that you're officially drafted, and what are you looking forward to?

CALEB WILSON: I'm excited. I'm beyond excited for this opportunity. I feel like I'll do great with the team and I feel like I have a good relationship with some of their players already. I'm just ready to get to work.

I mean, about the city, my favorite rapper is from Chicago. His name is Lucki. I love him. I listen to him for a long time. It will also be exciting. But I'm just excited for the opportunity. I really can't believe it.

Q. A lot of people projected you to go here. I know you worked out for them. What do you think of this fit, having a clean slate with the new front office and new coaching staff, all that?

CALEB WILSON: I feel like it's a great fit. You only get one chance to make a first impression. It's time for me to make my impression at Summer League and keep going.

I'm really happy I got drafted, but it's time to hoop. I'm excited for the opportunity, and it's time to go to work.
