Q. Here with Lottie after her third round at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Lottie, a little bit of a roller coaster on the front nine, but then settled in on the back nine. Can you just kind of talk maybe about the differences on the golf course between the first couple rounds and today? Looked like it firmed up quite a bit.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think so. Definitely was running through a few fairways maybe more than some of the other days. I think just the wind we had the last few days definitely dried it out a little bit.
But, yeah, didn't have a bogey yesterday and was up and down on that front nine, but scrambled pretty well on the back to set it out and, yeah, got a good chance tomorrow.
Q. I was going to mention on the back the scrambling. How much confidence does that give you after those bogeys on the front to get up and down heading into tomorrow and just know that that short game is there?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I feel like my short game is in a good spot. I had like a few chips that definitely felt makable. Just trying to give those a chance. You know, tap-in for par when you miss the green is never a bad thing.
So, yeah, solid in the end.
Q. And then only a shot back heading into tomorrow. Winning is becoming a pretty normal thing out here for you: already two wins in less than a year. Can you talk about heading into tomorrow what you'll really lean on in those past experiences?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think definitely a lot. I've been a few final groups now and it's gone my way on a couple occasions. But obviously if someone plays better than you it's going to go their way.
I think just trying to get off to a good start and try and get back ahead and push early and just keep putting the pressure on is what we're going to try to do.
Q. Right now leading the field in birdies. Talk about what you really need to do out here to make sure you're giving yourself so many birdie looks?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, if I'm needing to make birdies, I need to make a few less bogeys then probably. But, yeah, I feel like I've been rolling it pretty well on the greens, so kind of all the opportunities I had today I kind of converted. Just going try and give myself I guess more chances tomorrow and hopefully just keep holing some putts.
