Q. Jing, it was a pleasure following you out there today. First time you've been in this position. Were you nervous out there today?

JING YAN: I was a little bit nervous but I tried to take it as a good thing. You know, you don't learn to be in this position without being in this position, so, yeah, I tried to think of it as excitement and helped me focus.

Yeah, but there were some nerves there. The heart was beating.

Q. Was there anything in the game at the start of the week that tipped you off that you would be coming into this kind of form?

JING YAN: Not really. I mean, I played well here before and I felt like I really like the course and it's nice to have friends and family out supporting me.

But I felt like I was putting and hitting it a little better, and that kind of always adds up to a bit more confidence.
