Q. All right, here with Aza after her first round at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Very solid 3-under from you this morning in some pretty tough conditions I would say; breezy. Just kind of take us through the round today. What worked well?

AZAHARA MUNOZ: Yeah, it was pretty tough. It was cold and really, really breezy, gusty at times. But I played pretty good. I didn't hit many fairways, but when I missed them I barely missed them. I didn't get too bad of a lie in the rough, so I managed to hit pretty good shots in.

I didn't play that amazing, but I did enough, and then I played really well on the par-5s.

Q. Is it frustrating a little bit when you're missing fairways? How do you overcome that frustration maybe to still get some good results?

AZAHARA MUNOZ: No, I didn't get frustrated. Today I had really good attitude. I been struggling a lot lately so I came -- you know, whatever happens is going to happen. Just take whatever you hit it and go find it.

So that was kind of my attitude today, and it was a bit more relaxed than normal so I think that's the way to go.

Q. How does this golf course suit your game?

AZAHARA MUNOZ: I really like it. I played well here before. I normally like that you have to hit fairways and greens, but didn't hit many fairways.

But I really like it. It's in great shape. The rough is thick. The greens are rolling really nice. So it's playing really good.

Q. Only 26 putts for you. Was that a product of hitting it close, making the putts, or a combination of both?

AZAHARA MUNOZ: Yeah, so I hit quite a few very close for birdies and then sometimes when I've missed the green I've barely missed green, so it was a pretty straightforward up and down.

So I guess the combination of that.

Q. What do you take away from this round momentum-wise heading into the rest of the week hopefully?

AZAHARA MUNOZ: I'm very happy. It's been a while since I've had a nice round, so I'll take it. Just going to go hit a couple drives and relax this afternoon and do the same tomorrow: just hit the ball, go find it and see what happens.
