Quick Quotes
Q. Your fifth match of the week. You come out victorious in singles. Just talk to me about it.
ASTERISK TALLEY: I was feeling pretty good this morning going into today, had some good vibes with the team. I think we were all just ready to go out there and kill it today.
We thought we weren't feeling the pressure today. They were going to be the ones feeling the heat out there. So just get out there and play good.
Q. I don't think anybody has played more competitive golf than you in the last month. Chevron, 36 at Richmond, U.S. Women's Open, and now this. How is your body feeling? When it got tired, and I'm sure it did, what did you say to yourself, or what did friends, coaches, family say to you to kind of keep going?
ASTERISK TALLEY: I think it was all about perspective. You feel the adrenaline out there, so you don't get tired too much. But when you do, you're just like, man, it's always great to be out here with friends and family. I think it's great to play golf every day for a living.
You always have to keep that in perspective. Not everybody gets to do that. You have to be grateful.
Q. What's the plan for the rest of the summer before you go to Stanford?
ASTERISK TALLEY: I think playing some more tournaments. It's going to be tough, but just hopefully getting some more opportunities out there. This is what I love to do, so hopefully just playing some more golf.
