CURTIS CUP

June 14, 2026

Sophia Fullbrook

Los Angeles, California, USA

Bel-Air Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. You don't make it easy, but you must be delighted to get another point.

SOPHIA FULLBROOK: Yeah, so happy. To be honest with you, would have liked to get the match over a little earlier. 16, Avery holed an incredible putt, so there's nothing you can do about that. Yeah, 17 was definitely my fault, wrong angle to come in on, but I had faith going down 18.

Q. Four points for the week. You'd probably have taken that on Thursday at the start?

SOPHIA FULLBROOK: Yeah, for sure. I knew me and Patience were a good duo. We've played together before. Our games are so similar, and our yardages are so similar. So it was nice to have each other out. But to go win an individual point today especially, yeah.

Q. What was it like first experience in a Curtis Cup on a Sunday? All the people out. How did you concentrate?

SOPHIA FULLBROOK: Our confidence was -- definitely nerves going into it, but I tried to channel the nerves into excitement. Yeah, just put my one in today and after what happened, just know that I tried my hardest.

Q. What was the chat at the start of the day in the team room?

SOPHIA FULLBROOK: We were very aware that we're behind, but Catriona is lovely. She said, go out, have fun. We all know we play best when we have fun. So that's what we were trying to do today and battle back as hard as we can.
