RBC CANADIAN OPEN

June 14, 2026

Jackson Suber

Caledon, Ontario, Canada

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course)

Quick Quotes

Q. Playing in a final group in the final round, how were you feeling throughout the round?

JACKSON SUBER: Yeah, I was feeling pretty good. Definitely a little nervy in the beginning. Hit a few putts too hard and a bad chip on the second hole. But after that I felt like I was really in control of my game and hitting great shots. Then 14 just hit it a little too hard on The Rink hole. Then 15, just a bad swing. But besides that I felt like I was in a pretty good spot and just felt really solid about my game this week. Nothing crazy, but everything was just in a really good spot.

Q. Came short of the win, but were able to secure a spot in the Open Championship, and also the final Signature Event at Travelers. Were either of those two scenarios on your mind?

JACKSON SUBER: Yeah, for sure. I definitely peaked up at the board a few times, which I've been doing a good job of not looking at the leaderboard this week, and maybe let that get to me a little bit today. But to be able to play in the U.S. Open next week, Travelers, and then the British Open, I mean, that's a pretty big schedule change, especially coming into the year with conditional status. So really looking forward to those, never been to Europe, so looking forward to that as well.

Q. Charles Schwab, was just short of qualifying for Memorial, do you take any motivation to try to get back to the final Signature Event?

JACKSON SUBER: For sure. Definitely helped -- I was cheering for Wyndham at Memorial, him playing well kind of opened up another spot, but didn't leave that to chance with my play this week. Really wanted to play Memorial, but hopefully I'll get to play it next year.

Q. You mentioned you have a busy stretch here after Monday qualifying for U.S. Open next week. What are the big takeaways you're going to look to carry on to next week?

JACKSON SUBER: I'm glad my fiance' woke up at 3:30 this morning to fly up here, and she's going to come with me to the U.S. Open for the full week. That definitely makes life a little simpler and more comfortable. Just to keep playing how I am. I really feel like I'm maturing as a player and finding the things that work for me. Just keep doing those and making sure I get rest.

Q. Was it a surprise of her coming?

JACKSON SUBER: No, I talked to her last night. Her coming to another country by herself, definitely had to help out a little bit, but she did a great job. I think I saw her on the 3rd hole for the first time and it was pretty cool, definitely made me calm down a little bit. After that, was my first birdie, so I don't think that's a coincidence.
