Q. Great one. Little nerve-racking at the end there?

SOPHIA FULLBROOK: Yeah, for sure. We didn't exactly want to take it down 18, but ended up doing it. Then when it happens, you just have to pull through and tell yourself you've got this.

Q. Fair play because obviously you had the chat and then you came out on 18 and struck it in the middle of the green. You must be pretty proud.

SOPHIA FULLBROOK: We had nothing to lose. We secured a half point three holes before. No one wants to be 3-up with three to play for the match. We just had that drive in us to get the full point.

Q. Patience, three wins. I don't know if you realize that, you have three wins. How good does that feel?

PATIENCE RHODES: Pretty good. I think a couple years ago I had no wins going into singles. But you know me and Soph are just a great pairing. Yeah, I don't know, good golf out there, pretty solid, but nerve-racking at the end. Yeah, we did great.

Q. I remember that. That's a bit of pressure in singles at Sunningdale. Two years later you're suddenly the stalwart of the team. We talked about that at the start of the week. You've kind of stood up and been the leader. Would you agree?

PATIENCE RHODES: I've tried to be, but you know, the whole team is kind of a leader, I guess, in the group. Everyone is hyping each other up out there, which is great.

But going out in singles, you just want to have as many wins as you can this week. So just going to carry on trying.

Q. You cut the gap to two. You must realize the importance of the session to win the session this afternoon, which you've done. Suddenly you've got a chance tomorrow.

SOPHIA FULLBROOK: We definitely did. Me and Patience were counting down the points as motivation. Yeah, we did. We did know the importance.

Q. You've got to believe tomorrow.

SOPHIA FULLBROOK: We definitely believe. We've closed the gap a bit since this morning. Yeah, we have faith in ourselves in singles for sure, so yeah.

Q. What was said at halftime today? Did you realize that you had to go out and basically win the session. Otherwise, you're in trouble?

PATIENCE RHODES: Yeah, there was some words shared, but probably can't say that. Nice words, very motivational words, but basically go out there and kick some butt. Try to get 3-0 to us. I think all the girls really, really tried their hardest up until the last hole, so yeah.
