Q. Charlotte, you must be delighted to get your first point of the week.

CHARLOTTE NAUGHTON: So happy. It means everything to represent GB&I, and to actually win a point as well, it means everything to me.

Q. Did that feel a bit of pressure when you were coming in this afternoon and you were like we could really do with a point?

CHARLOTTE NAUGHTON: Yeah, I think we came out with a great attitude, me and Davina. Honestly, we were so hyped the whole way. We had each other's backs, and I think we did so well together.

DAVINA XANH: We were just fueled with a lot of energy getting out. Not so much nerves as excitement, and just really wanting to get after it.

Q. Does that play into your mind as well? I can't imagine what it's like to try and get a point to put on your Curtis Cup record. It must feel pretty good.

DAVINA XANH: Yeah, it feels really good. It is a lot of nerves, but we're all capable of doing it.

Q. Was there a chat at lunch about the importance of this session this afternoon?

DAVINA XANH: Yeah, we felt -- Charlotte and I felt pretty strongly about our pairing. We had a great plan coming into it with who was taking which tee shots and stuff. So we felt quite confident.

Q. And how did it feel? Just you've been here a few days obviously, but just being in the heat of battle, what's it felt like?

CHARLOTTE NAUGHTON: It's been amazing. Davina and I both had some really close matches. I think it could have went either way, but to win this one is big, and I'm really, really happy.

Q. I've noticed that a lot. There's not a lot between the games, is there? Just little things here and there.

DAVINA XANH: It's tight all the way. Even the biggest scores that go way down 18, it's just marginal differences.
