Q. All right, joining us after the third round of the Dow Championship are Alison Lee and Lilia Vu. You've been playing strong all week. Can you talk about how this partnership works?

ALISON LEE: I feel like we just kept it really light out there. I mean, we didn't really even talk much golf at all. Even during our practice rounds we didn't really talk much strategy at all. Just kind of caught up and have just been enjoying the week.

Being in the middle of year too you get to a point where you start it fatigue a little bit when you play so many events. Yeah, just kept it light. Lilia was nice enough to play 18 holes with me on Tuesday when I only played nine. Been a lot of fun.

LILIA VU: Yeah, it's been a lot of fun. Almost don't feel like a tournament to me for some reason. Energy is light and having a good time out there. Given the conditions today I think we did pretty well.

Q. Alison. You mentioned it, coming off a really serious week last week. How does it feel to go out and play fun golf?

ALISON LEE: Yeah, it's fun. We rarely get to play in any sort of team format. Obviously the only time we get to is Solheim Cup and when we were in college.

LILIA VU: Yeah.

ALISON LEE: So to be able to play in a format like this is so different and unique. I didn't get to play last year. I don't think Lilia played for how long, like several years.

LILIA VU: Yeah, exactly.

ALISON LEE: Yeah, I feel like our games mesh really well together. Feel like we've done a really good job navigating the golf course. Lilia made some great putts. Feel like I hit some really good shots.

Today especially it's playing really difficult. Super windy. Feel like a lot of pin placements today were really, really tough given that we have to play alternate shot as well. The fact that we shot under par today and going into tomorrow I feel really good about it.

LILIA VU: Yeah, I agree with everything she said.

Q. Final round tomorrow. Back to best ball format. Anything you learned from yesterday or any strategy you have and knowing it's a final round if you're going to be more aggressive?

LILIA VU: I feel like we got off to a slow start yesterday and didn't really -- I mean, I didn't make any birdies until our 10th hole.

Just being more aggressive and there is nothing to lose. I trust her game and hopefully she trusts mine and we can go out there and have fun.

ALISON LEE: Yeah, definitely. I feel like especially best ball format if we want to win tomorrow we have to make a ton of birdies. Besides that, I think we're just going to try to go out and have a lot of fun and hopefully the putts drop.

Q. And then you guys both played at UCLA. Seen a lot of people out here rocking UCLA gear. How has it been to rep your college in that way?

LILIA VU: It's been really fun. And also we never played on the team at the same time. So this is a new thing. I feel like our first time was Solheim.

ALISON LEE: Yeah, I think I would've been a senior when you were a freshman or something like that.

LILIA VU: Yeah.

ALISON LEE: Yeah, I was still in school so I would serious Lilia around once in a while and once in a while I joined the teamwork out here and there. Like we played a lot of junior golf together. I've known Lilia since we were kids. Probably since I was like 12.

LILIA VU: Uh-huh.

ALISON LEE: So known each other for a long time, too.

Q. Alison and Lilia, even after that shot where snap hooked out of bounds, what was your mindset on that hole? You realize you're right in the middle of shooting official in a bar role in this tournament?

LILIA VU: Yeah, for me, it's a pretty meaty hole. I've been kind of leaking my drives out right so just wanted to make sure I had a draw but it was a pulled draw instead any usual push draw. That's basically what...

Q. A little fast on that?

LILIA VU: I have no idea. I have no swing techniques. It was just what happened in that moment.

Q. The winds was the biggest thing today. Most of the leaders in the top 10, six out of ten, are over par. You're under it. I think you got a great shot tomorrow.
