RBC CANADIAN OPEN

June 13, 2026

Taylor Pendrith

Caledon, Ontario, Canada

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course)

Quick Quotes

Q. Sort of an up-and-down day for you, but you're still in great shape. What are some of the positives you can take forward to tomorrow?

TAYLOR PENDRITH: There's a lot of good shots that I hit today that I feel like I was a little uncomfortable with, and really committed and made good swings and the results turned out nicely. I felt like I drove it pretty good again today. Just a couple kind of sloppy mistakes, mixed with maybe a bad wind gust on 10, but that's going to happen out here and unfortunately it happened on that hole where there was water. But I feel like my game's good. I would have liked to have posted a better score today, but feel like I didn't play that bad.

Q. Before you came to chat with us you took the time to sign some autographs with fans, especially kids, how important is that part of this job?

TAYLOR PENDRITH: Yeah, it's a huge part of it. Those kids look up to all of us out here and it doesn't take much, took five minutes out of my day to make their day. So especially here in Canada, a lot of them know my name, so it's always nice to stop.

Q. Did you have an interaction like that with an athlete when you were a kid, whether it be hockey, baseball or golf?

TAYLOR PENDRITH: Not necessarily with autographs. There's lots of, I guess, athletes that I looked up to, but I've never really, I guess, got to meet them when I was a kid. But I can imagine that if I did get to meet Tiger as a 10 year old it would be a pretty cool moment.

Q. I watched you do one-on-ones. Any of that disruptive to your process, because that's not something on a regular week on the PGA TOUR, you're maybe not getting that kind of media attention. Is this media attention you're getting this week, is it disruptive to your process in any way?

TAYLOR PENDRITH: No, no, not at all. I like talking to those guys.

Q. I worked in the music business, represented some bands, I was on tour with rock stars and when I'm coming home it would be a crash, I would be depressed because I'm not being treated like a rock star. Do you get any of that, the week after the Canadian Open or two, where that attention's kind of gone and it's, I don't know...

TAYLOR PENDRITH: No, I mean we're going home next week and I'm really looking forward to it and looking forward to just being at home with my wife and our two kids and kind of relaxing. This week's obviously one that I really look forward to every year and it takes a little bit more energy than I would say a normal week for me. Just being in Canada, you got a lot of family and friends and you're kind of always on, I guess, for the whole week, especially early in the week's busy, so I'm looking forward to going home and relaxing.
