RBC CANADIAN OPEN

June 12, 2026

Brooks Koepka

Caledon, Ontario, Canada

TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course)

Quick Quotes

Q. Another solid day out there today, obviously pretty challenging with the wind, but how would you sum up your round out there today?

BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, I would like to have that tee ball back on 13. I just stood there for 10 minutes and tried to hit a low fade and then it turned into a high draw. And it just, you know, when you stand there and start thinking too long, that was kind of the issue. I would love to have that one back. But other than that, played solid, it was fine. The ball striking hasn't been phenomenal, but it's good.

Q. A lot has been made about the putting so far this year, but so far this week the putting has been spectacular. What was the thing that prompted you to pick the particular putter you're using this week?

BROOKS KOEPKA: I went into my studio, I think it was the week of Dallas, and just was just in there putting and just went with what putters felt well. Trying to not have the CG more to the front so I can release the toe. More toe hang so it releases the toe. That's been a huge thing.

Q. Sometimes is it just that simple, that it feels good?

BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, there's science behind it. I knew where I was going with it. But it was one that felt the best. I spent a bunch of time in there. I dropped my son off at school and was in there for about three and a half hours, went and picked him up, and then went back to it. But, yeah, it feels good.

Q. What will the rest of your day look like as you prepare for tomorrow?

BROOKS KOEPKA: Go home, go get treatment, go home, go work out, and then just chill.

Q. How do you think the course will continue to evolve as the weather cools off a little bit and the wind picks up?

BROOKS KOEPKA: Probably see it maybe firm out a little bit. I think it rained, it rained a little bit Tuesday, and maybe a little bit before -- yeah, and yesterday, yeah, no kidding. But I think it will, if we don't see any more rain I think it will firm out, just with the wind and sun out. Hopefully it does, I think it will be a fun golf course to play when it's firm.

Q. How challenging was that out there?

BROOKS KOEPKA: Yeah, it was difficult. I feel like there was a lot of holes that were into, off the left, and as a fader that's a little difficult. But it was a gusty day. You never could sit back and relax or felt really comfortable, you just had to be on your toes all day.

Q. As a competitor, the first couple holes, you get the bounceback, the birdies and eagles to finish up that front nine, what does that mean to you?

BROOKS KOEPKA: I feel like my bounceback stat's always been pretty good. I'm pretty go with the flow. I would like to have that tee shot back. We stood there for about 10, 15 minutes and contemplated way too many shots rather than just getting up there and ripping it. But I played well, that was the only thing I would like to have back.

Q. How close are you to getting back to where you were?

BROOKS KOEPKA: I feel really close. The ball striking probably hasn't been what I would say it's been all year. Driving it as well, maybe not as great this week. The putting has been great. So I'm happy with it, I'm excited, and hopefully it continues this week.
