Quick Quotes

Q. After going 0-2 in four-ball in '24, you won the first session here in 2-1. Talk to me about how it felt and just the entire day.

MEGHAN STASI: Very exciting. It was great for Asterisk and Kiara to finish like they did and get some rest for the afternoon. What an exciting match this was.

Second match was tough. They had a tough start, going 3-down after three to an eagle, birdie, birdie. The girls are playing strong; girls are playing tough. Just exciting to watch.

Q. What did you tell this final group? They were up 3 through seven and kind of went all the way to the 18th. What did you tell them to stay focused and not let up?

MEGHAN STASI: Exactly, staying focused. They're grinders. They hit almost every fairway, hit a lot of greens. Again, they lost to birdies. It's not like they were all over the place. They're just a strong team and very excited they pulled it out.

Q. Does it make -- to send Romero and Talley out, No. 1 junior and No. 1 amateur, together, does that kind of set the tone?

MEGHAN STASI: Yeah, Asterisk, she's a pace horse. Love the fact she went out first, went out fast, fast and furious. We'll just keep going.

Q. How do you keep this up?

MEGHAN STASI: Same thing: Stay strong. Keep hitting some fairways and be really united as a team.
