Q. Here with Team Legally Blondes after the second round of the Dow Championship. Very solid 10-under from you guys today. What was the key to success?

OLIVIA COWAN: I think just having fun out there.

NELLY KORDA: Yeah.

OLIVIA COWAN: I think that was our first strategy of the week is just to enjoy it. And like we said, we play our best when we're just having fun and enjoying the moment, so that's kind of what we're doing.

NELLY KORDA: Yeah. A little bit more freeing after alternate shot. Obviously when you play four-ball you don't have to be -- obviously we're all zoned in and trying to perform our best, but a little bit less pressure than alternate shot.

Q. Is there any specific strategy you guys implemented today?

NELLY KORDA: No. Just send it. Yeah.

OLIVIA COWAN: Zero. Make as many birdies as we can.

NELLY KORDA: Yeah.

Q. Clearly worked out. How do you guys complement each other's games in terms of this format?

NELLY KORDA: 'Liv is just really solid over the tee and like in general her entire game, so when she hits a really solid one it's really easy for me to be a little bit more aggressive, especially on the green or whatnot.

So I think we're both really consistent players, so I think we can be a little bit more aggressive than what we normally would be when we're just playing solo.

OLIVIA COWAN: Yeah, I would agree. We're both -- I would say we play pretty similarly. I think that kind of just helps us play freely and be a lot more aggressive as well when you know you can rely on the other person.

So, yeah.

Q. How is it being back at the Dow Championship? First time since 2022.

NELLY KORDA: It's been fun. The crowds have been pretty amazing, especially on Thursday, Friday. So excited for the weekend to see how many people show up.

But yeah, this event is fun because it's not something we get to do very often and it's a nice changeup

Q. To have a teammate out there, in golf that's obviously not normal. For you to have each other, I see you high fiving and laughing, is it fun to have a partner along the way?

OLIVIA COWAN: Oh, sorry, yeah, yes, it is. Obviously golf is a very individual sport. We're out there by ourselves. We have our caddies; that is our teammate. But yeah, it's just fun to have a different format for the week. You know, to go out with a friend is always a good time, and we haven't played together in a long time.

NELLY KORDA: No.

OLIVIA COWAN: This is nice. We get to play together for four days.

NELLY KORDA: It's fun because you can be someone else's cheerleader, too.

OLIVIA COWAN: Yeah.

NELLY KORDA: You're like, Whoo. Whoo, I don't have to putt. Good putt (laughter.)
