Q. 10-under par 60 today coming off a difficult format yesterday. How freeing is that?

OLIVIA COWAN: Yeah, I think it's a fun format. We both get to play our own ball. I think we were starting a little bit -- because we played different balls, so that was a challenge yesterday.

No, I think we were both just having fun out there and enjoying the format. It's a great week.

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, alternate shot is fun. I think we played really good, even it was kind of gusty out here yesterday in the afternoon. Greens get a little bumpy as well.

We played solid golf yesterday and I think today we just wanted to go out and have some fun. I think that's when we play our best.

Q. Nelly, you're coming off an exhausting week both mentally and physically. What's it been like to walk the fairways with a partner?

NELLY KORDA: It's been so much fun, honestly, getting to share the fairways with 'Liv, our caddies, has been a lot of fun. Last week was a great week, but I think this was a perfect week to kind of back up that week where it's kind of a little bit more relaxed.

So far I've been having a lot of fun. Can't speak for 'Liv. But it's been a blast.

Q. Olivia, you hit the ball really well all day today. You got to pay it off with a beautiful putt at the last. How good did that feel?

OLIVIA COWAN: Felt great. Nelly made a lot of putts today so I felt like I needed to make the last one, so that was a good feeling.

NELLY KORDA: She did forget to bend and snap. I was screaming, bend and snap, bend and snap.

OLIVIA COWAN: No, we've forgotten that a lot this whole week, and that's our whole thing. (Laughter.)

Q. It's been fun to watch the two of you walk the fairways together. Seems like you've been in constant contact. Is there any golf talk or just having fun out there?

NELLY KORDA: Honestly, probably just having fun. Not much golf talk at all. Mainly coffee, lunch. I think we made the turn and we were like, oh, my gosh nine more holes and we can eat and go get coffee.

OLIVIA COWAN: Very excited for that.

Q. What about the weekend? Is the strategy going to change at all or just keep doing what you've been doing?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, just keep doing what we're doing. When it's light and fun, that's kind of when we both show up at our best.
