Q. All right, joining us after the first round of the Dow Championship are Maja Stark and Linn Grant. First, can you tell us your team name and how this partnership came to be?

LINN GRANT: Campus Runaways. Yeah, we both dropped out of college, so...

MAJA STARK: Pretty easy.

LINN GRANT: Yeah.

MAJA STARK: We also played with each other a lot so we were so comfortable with each other, so it just felt pretty natural that we were going to play together. Yeah.

LINN GRANT: Yeah.

Q. What was your strategy out there today? You guys have only one bogey throughout the entire round.

LINN GRANT: I feel like we have -- like we played foursomes so much, so we already have everything, like our strategy installed. Like we both always have a putter in hand even though it's a short putt. Like we're always on the tee together. We try to walk together.

Yeah, just to like be able to rely on each other a bit more and feel a bit more safe I guess.

MAJA STARK: Yeah, fell like just want to give your partner a putt. If they made it, great. You knocked in a couple really long ones. That was really nice. Just felt, I'll just hit it on the green and she'll make it, so it's fine.

Yeah, we hadn't talked through anything. Barely seen each other this week until this morning. When did they choose to hit when?

LINN GRANT: This morning at breakfast.

MAJA STARK: Yeah, so sometimes we'll just flip a tee and see who's going first.

Q. Heading into a different format tomorrow is your strategy changing at all? Is one of you going to be more aggressive while one of you plays a bit more safer?

LINN GRANT: Haven't talked through that yet.

MAJA STARK: Of course not.

LINN GRANT: We're pretty set on like if we can always keep two balls in play and have two opportunities on every hole and then you just have two putts everywhere, I think that will kind of make the best score.

MAJA STARK: It looked like the pins were going to be a little bit easier tomorrow so I feel like maybe if someone is feeling hot then you can that one can go for it a bit more. Feels like our games are so similar anyway that we're just kind of going to do what we usually do. Just go for it.

LINN GRANT: Yeah.

Q. We are at the mid-point of the season. How does a fun event like this break up the middle of the major season?

MAJA STARK: It's so nice. I mean, it was such a long week last week.

LINN GRANT: For you.

MAJA STARK: For us both, for everyone. So it's just nice to just have fun and play a pretty straightforward course like this, and just also go out there and feel like even if we don't play that well, at least we're going to have fun.

So, yeah, it's really nice because it's going to get intense pretty soon.

LINN GRANT: Yeah.
