Q. All right, joining us after the first round of the Dow Championship are Camille Boyd and Michelle Zhang. Tell us first about how this partnership came to be.

MICHELLE ZHANG: I mean, I just was like -- we were in Mexico and then I was like, hey, do you want to play together? She was like, yeah, sure, and then we signed up together.

Q. This championship comes pretty much right in the middle of the season. It's a lot of fun. You get to play with someone else. Crowds out here are great. How does this break up a stressful season for you?

CAMILLE BOYD: Yeah, I think going into the event we were both super excited. It's a fun thing. The crowds were great, so I think we were just having good vibes out there and feeding off that energy for sure.

Q. You guys are both in your rookie season right now. How does it feel to have the opportunity to kind of play this event with a fellow rookie, someone who experiences similar things to what you are on Tour?

MICHELLE ZHANG: No, I think it's just super exciting. We haven't had the best season this year so far, but just going out there we're always nervous. But kind of putting it into perspective this week. Hitting a bad shot, it's okay. Like I know Camille got me. Or even if she placed me in a bad spot it's okay. Like I got you, dog; don't worry about it.

CAMILLE BOYD: For sure, yeah.

Q. You guys had a really strong round today. Talk about what was going well for you on the golf course and what was your strategy was heading into today?

CAMILLE BOYD: I think so strategy we didn't talk too much about it. It was just like, okay, I'm going to do odd holes, you're going to do even holes. Then today I was just like -- I don't think we both hit it super well, but Michelle putted great and I think we were able to capitalize on that momentum, and, you know, keep the good vibes going and keep it light and fun out there.

Q. And then heading into tomorrow, totally different format. Any strategy or thoughts about how you'll approach tomorrow?

MICHELLE ZHANG: I mean, I think we're just going to do the same thing: have some fun out there. That's kind of what we're doing all day today, just feeding off that energy. Every time I make a putt she's like, oh, are you going to leave any putts for me? Or if she makes a putt, let's fricking go. Just trying to be positive and happy out there.
