THE MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT PRESENTED BY WORKDAY

June 7, 2026

J.T. Poston

Dublin, Ohio, USA

Muirfield Village

Quick Quotes - Greenside

Q. You came into this week without a top-20 finish and you leave with the biggest win of your career. What did it take to outlast this entire field through 33 holes?

J.T. POSTON: A lot of holes, a lot of grit. Obviously didn't play my best first 12, 13 holes, but I told myself I wanted to -- I knew I was going to shake Jack's hand walking off 18, and I wanted to be proud of that handshake regardless of how it turned out. So I'm thrilled it happened this way.

Q. Your wife and your beautiful children are right here to celebrate with you, and this is an emotional one. Could you just explain why so much emotion. We were talking, you have seen your husband work so hard. What does it take to get to this moment?

J.T. POSTON: A lot of hard work. A lot of people believing in me when I may not have myself, starting with this one. So many people to thank, my coach, my family. Aaron kept me steady out there. I know I'm forgetting a few. Just hard to believe, honestly. I haven't played my best, but I felt like it was trending and just to do it this way, birdieing 18. Can't wait to shake Mr. Nicklaus's hand.
