The Riviera Country Club
Flash Interview
Q. 1-under 70 today. Now that the championship is over, what are your thoughts on the week as a whole?
IN GEE CHUN: Now I feel free (laughing). I mean, I had a great week. To be honest, I mean, with my team and playing together this week means a lot for me, because everything was kind of a little bit of pressure before, but I think I can say I truly enjoyed all the pressure and my golf game this week so I want to say a very special thanks to my team who helped me this week.
Q. What are you most proud of leaving this championship?
IN GEE CHUN: I always feel very proud to be on the first tee every day when I'm playing the U.S. Women's Open. I think just the USGA treats us a lot that way to the players, I really appreciate the USGA what they do every year, yeah.
Q. Being here at Riviera, how did it feel to play here in California in front of this amazing crowd out here?
IN GEE CHUN: I think I always thought playing in California was tough. The grass is not something I'm familiar so it plays a little tougher here. But I think I can get a lot of confidence after this week.
So if I have a chance next time playing in California, I think this experience helped me a lot, I believe.
Q. You have a great finish here, how are you going to take what you've learned this week into the rest of the major championship season?
IN GEE CHUN: I think I definitely can say this tournament can make me have a confidence booster. So I think I can just keep going and have a good week off next week, and just try again.
