Q. So what did it feel like to finish inside the top 10 in the U.S. Open?

NASA HATAOKA: (Through translation.) So because the only aim that I was looking for is winning this championship, so I feel regretful.

Q. Was there any specific shot or moment today you wish you could have back?

NASA HATAOKA: (Through translation.) I think that the tee shot at No. 13 hole, because that -- the ball hit the tree and after that, I think that the flow didn't go too well.

So that was something I would like to redo if I could.

Q. How is the course conditions today? How is the course playing for you?

NASA HATAOKA: (Through translation.) So I think that out of all four days, that today we had strongest wind and so the green is the firmest.

So it was difficult to anticipate what kind of release I should do, what kind of distance I should be reading, and that is kind of hard.

Q. Lastly, what's something you're proud of from today's round or some positive moment you'll take from the way you played today?

NASA HATAOKA: (Through translation.) Yes, I had to grind all the way until the end. I think that is very important to have that mindset.
