Q. Can you talk a little bit about your hole-in-one today?

LUCAS HERBERT: Yeah, we tried to pitch it a couple over the front edge. I didn't think I caught it well enough, so I was worried it wasn't going to cover. Then once we saw it land, I was happy. Yeah, was surprised it went in. I thought it was going to go way too quick. But the replay, it didn't look like it was moving towards the hole too fast. I'll take it.

Q. What number is this in the history of your career?

LUCAS HERBERT: I think I've had seven or eight, but this is the first time I've had it in a tournament, so I'm happy about that.

Q. It's the second longest ace in LIV Golf history. Knowing that and how the conditions were yesterday versus today, what are your takeaways?

LUCAS HERBERT: Always very happy with the 1, as rare as they are.

For the round, yeah, very happy. I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I've shot under par here, so very happy to be under par, today and for the tournament. It doesn't look like I'll be too far back, so I'm happy with that.

Q. Quick assessment of your form; three strong rounds in Korea, now these two rounds?

LUCAS HERBERT: Yeah, felt like I played really nicely in Korea. I feel like we're on a bit of a roll at the moment. There's a few things I'd like to improve, but pretty consistent where I'm at. I'm not hitting too many really bad shots, which is usually what undoes me, so I feel like that's why the scores are as good as they are.
