Q. Talk about your round today, how you were feeling, the conditions, and how you think you may have to adjust with changes in the conditions tomorrow.

DAVID PUIG: Yeah, I mean, obviously great round. Anything under par around this place is a great score, especially with how tricky it played today with the wind. I started really well. Made a bogey on 6, which was my fifth hole.

But played really well. Made a couple birdies in a row and was in a great spot. Hit a bad tee shot on 14 that cost me a bogey. Hit a great iron on 15 but went really long and made double, so that was tough to swallow, going from 3-under to even par. But had an amazing finish with birdies on two of the last three holes that I played.

Really happy. It played really challenging, and pretty happy overall with how I hit it.

Q. Sergio obviously has a long history here. Do you think playing with him over this past season has helped as we've approached this tournament?

DAVID PUIG: I mean, definitely. Something that I really worked on the last few months was kind of lowering my trajectory a little bit, and it's essential at this place when it's blowing like this. I think I've done a good job today. I think I became more consistent with my trajectory and the shots that I want to hit.
