Quick Quotes
Q. Joaco, really solid round today. Your game looks like it's trending in the right direction. How close do you feel you are to winning?
JOAQUÍN NIEMANN: Sure. I mean, yeah, the game is great. It's a good challenge to be out here in Korea in front of this crowd, which is a lot of fun. Always love playing in Asia, so yeah, I'm excited for the weekend.
Q. You won five times last year, and you're looking obviously to get that same momentum this year. When you're not getting the results that you want, how difficult is it to trust that process?
JOAQUÍN NIEMANN: You just learn yourself it's just part of the process. I feel like we're all going to go through ups and downs, and I went through a lot of pretty high highs last year and it's hard to come back after that. I feel like it's been good learning. I've been through a few changes on the team and in my game and different stuff that I was looking for, and then I figured out that I didn't need to look for anything.
Here we are, chasing the same direction, and I think it was a good time for me to learn and grow.
Q. The constant you have in your life is your wife, Christina, who walks with you all the time. I saw a great moment today of her trying to get you to smile. How important is it for you to have her out here supporting you?
JOAQUÍN NIEMANN: Yeah, she's the best. She's a big part of my life, of course, and I talk a lot with her about how I want to be on the course and how I want to be outside the course at every moment. It's nice to see her around. It's a good memory and a good time to remember, to bring me back to that moment.
