Quick Quotes
Q. Solid day today, 6-under 64. How would you assess the round?
LEE HODGES: Yeah, I played solid all day. Felt like I've been playing the same way that I've played today. I just finally got the ball in the hole. Just kind of scored a little bit better than I had been the last couple weeks.
Q. How frustrating is it for you to be in a rhythm and then a weather delay happens and you have to stop what you're doing?
LEE HODGES: Yeah, it's definitely tough, but I feel like we're kind of used to it at this point. We've done it so many times. Yeah, it can definitely hurt you if you let it, but I just kind of stayed up, stayed loose and kept going.
Q. Your fifth start here. What have you learned about the course over the years?
LEE HODGES: It's such a great course. It's one of my favorite courses we play all year because I don't think there's any one person that it caters to. You don't have to bomb it. You've got to have your whole game here. I think it's a great test of golf.
Q. Co-leading but still just the first day. What's the game plan for the rest of the week?
LEE HODGES: A lot of birdies. The greens are super soft. Normally I feel like at this tournament someone shoots 8-under the first day, and 12-under wins the tournament. I think you'll see some lower scores. Obviously I don't know if there's rain in the forecast or not, so it could get dry and firmer. But right now you can throw it at the hole.
