Quick Quotes
Q. Si Woo, 65 today on the final round. It's not quite enough to get it done, but it was pretty good playing. What was your overall thoughts on the day?
SI WOO KIM: Wasn't bad. I play solid, and then I think it's best putting in my life in contention. So that's really positive.
Yeah, I think if I keep knocking on the door, something's coming. I can feel it. Yeah, we'll see. I played great. I think it's pretty much best play golf I've ever had. I'm a little frustrated, but nothing I can do. Wyndham played so good. Congrats to Wyndham.
Q. Yeah, just some thoughts on that round? That was a pretty incredible round that Wyndham shot in the final round. How hard is it to do that, shoot 60 in the final round?
SI WOO KIM: It's really hard to do that on Sunday. I know even major champion and then he can do it. Yeah, it was so impressive. Yeah, congrats to Wyndham. He played great.
Q. You said it's the best you've ever played. You made 33 birdies for the week. Your fellow countryman Sungjae has the record at 34. Did you know that when you were out there today? Were you trying to maybe catch him?
SI WOO KIM: No, I wasn't even thinking about how much -- I don't even know how much I make birdie. I never track that. I just tried to make as many birdies as possible. I think I played great this week.
Q. What sort of confidence does this give you going forward for the rest of the season?
SI WOO KIM: I think last couple weeks is a little off. Then back to where I was. I felt really great. Hopefully take a rest one week, and then back to the Memorial.
Yeah, I think it's a lot of experience in contention this year. So everything gets comfortable, especially with Scottie on Sunday, last group. That's really positive. So, yeah, I'm just going to keep trying hard and trying to win.
