Q. Scottie, kind of an offbeat question, but I wonder what you thought of the crowds today. They seemed a little bit bigger than the last few years.

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: The crowds today? Yeah, I feel like this tournament always has a pretty good energy. We get a nice turnout, especially when you get some local guys in the same group. Yeah, I thought it was good energy.

Q. You've been pretty successful in defending championships. Is there anything -- is there any key to it? Do you put what happened last year out of mind? Or maybe it's like you've had success on a course and you keep that momentum?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: I think you can always take positive momentum from things, but coming -- from last year to this year, it's a different golf course. The greens have been redone. There's some new bunkering out there. It's different than it was last year, but just did a good job of staying patient and continuing to execute out there.

Q. Playing with a good friend tomorrow. It's a good story for Dallas. It's a good story for us. Is it equally a good story for you, or is it just another final round where you want to beat somebody?

SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER: Yeah, Si Woo, he's a great guy. He's a great competitor. I'm looking forward to the challenge of going to chase him down tomorrow. He's one of the most talented guys we have out here on TOUR.

I think two shots back going into tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to the challenge. It's always fun when I get to play with Si Woo. I think it's good for the community to have two guys that are local up there on the leaderboard. Should be a fun day tomorrow.
