Quick Quotes
Q. Impressive golf with you guys this week. 24-under par in three matches.
TOMI BOWEN: I didn't know that.
Q. You guys just been on fire. You like desert golf or what?
JONATHAN BALE: It's his first time playing desert golf so ask him. I've been out here before a few time. Tomi's first time.
TOMI BOWEN: It's good. As long as you keep it on the grass the fairways are great, greens are great. Yeah, just keep going the next couple rounds.
JONATHAN BALE: We ham and egged it pretty well. I think our games complement each other, so it's worked out.
Q. How did you guys form as a team? Age difference there obviously.
TOMI BOWEN: We both played for our National Team, Wales.
Q. The home internationals?
JONATHAN BALE: Yeah, we played home internationals, European Team. We both were on the Eisenhower team last year too.
Q. Oh, you played the World Amateur?
JONATHAN BALE: We did. I asked Tomi if he wanted to play because we were exempt through world ranking, and here we are.

TOMI BOWEN: That's the goal.
Q. Are you on the radar? Have you been to practice sessions or...
PLAYER: He's been to practice sessions.

Q. How much do you think a win here would put the...
JONATHAN BALE: Not going to do anywhere harm. I don't think it hurts.
Q. Did you go to college?
TOMI BOWEN: I didn't, no. Sat at home.
Q. Just playing golf?
JONATHAN BALE: Sat at home and worked and played some golf.
Q. Where do you work?
TOMI BOWEN: So my dad owns a window fitting business.
Q. Window?
TOMI BOWEN: Window fitting business.
Q. Window fitting business. Is that something you want to do?
TOMI BOWEN: No, I want to be a golfer.
Q. Play professionally?
TOMI BOWEN: Absolutely.
Q. So when would that happen?
TOMI BOWEN: End of the year. See how the end of the season goes and then, yeah, see then.
Q. And you --
JONATHAN BALE: I work for a hedge fund.
Q. Down in Florida?
JONATHAN BALE: Yeah, I play mid-amateur golf and some of the bigger amateur events.
Q. And you went to Louisiana Tech?
JONATHAN BALE: I did.
Q. Good place to go to.
JONATHAN BALE: Yeah. Now I live in Florida, so I live stateside. I go back and forth and play for Wales.
Q. The match today, that winning par I think on 14 I believe it was. Then 15 eagled.
JONATHAN BALE: Tomi made the eagle there.
Q. What did you hit?
JONATHAN BALE: Freed him up.
TOMI BOWEN: Hit a good drive. Yeah, Bale hit a good first drive and I hit a good drive second and then I had about, I don't know, 185 yards I think and hit an 8-iron to the back edge and holed a nice 30-footer.
Q. 30-footer?
TOMI BOWEN: Yeah.
Q. You guys have been holing a ton of putts, especially that match yesterday. You guys were 7-under.

PLAYER: Yeah, I played some --
Q. How many?
PLAYER: Oh, God.
PLAYER: Yeah, made a bunch of mid-ranges, which were like --
PLAYER: Yeah, 20, 30 feet.
Q. Do you know how many you made?
PLAYER: No idea.
PLAYER: Three, four, five.
Q. And yesterday the match too with Davenport.
PLAYER: Yeah, that was a good one as well. Just a lot of birdies.
Q. Is there something in the water out here this week?
PLAYER: It's good for Welsh people out here.
Q. Have Welsh people had success in the desert?
PLAYER: Not that I can remember. It's a little opposite to what we're used to. It's a nice change. Credit to the guy, our caddie who has been unbelievable. He's a local caddie and he's been very, very --
Q. Is he double bagging or --
JONATHAN BALE: No, no, he's just on my bag, but he's been helping Tomi with some reads as well.
TOMI BOWEN: Yeah, we would be screwed without him.
JONATHAN BALE: Yeah, he's a big value here.
